Meet Dr. McCabe
Hello, My name is Dr. Matthew F. McCabe. I am a South Windsor native
and recent graduate from the University of Connecticut School of Dental
Medicine. I started providing patient care at South Windsor Smiles in
August. I completed my undergraduate work at the University of
Connecticut, earning a B.S. in Physiology and Neurobiology, with a
minor in Human Rights. I am member of the American Dental Association,
the Connecticut State Dental Association, the Hartford Dental Society,
and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Did you know?... Dr. Norige and I forged a friendship on a dental mission
trip to Honduras where we provided dental care to those in need. Our
discussions were based around our desire to provide the best care possible,
and our mutual excitement about the craft of dentistry.
I enjoy giving back to the community and have volunteered for the Special
Olympics/Special Smiles, Give Kids a Smile, Migrant Farm Workers Clinic,
South Park Inn Homeless Shelter, and the Connecticut Mission of Mercy.
Outside of the office I enjoy time with my family and friends, I love baseball,
still play softball, and plan to continue volunteering as an assistant coach
in the South Windsor Little League.
